Hop on over to the award-winning Hopstix Brewery.
Get your tastebuds a belated Christmas present this season and cruise through Hopstix in Chamblee, where the brewpub has award-winning beers and picture-perfect bites on tap.
Make your New Year’s resolution to treat yourself this year. Where better to do so then Chamblee’s superb Indonesian-inspired brewpub, Hopstix. The brewpub was founded by brewmaster Andy Tan, who’s upbringing in the Indonesian street food scene would inspire him to share it vibrancy with Georgia’s capital. After teaming up with chef, Dony Raymond, the duo have achieved that goal and then some.
Since opening in 2017, Hopstix has racked up flights of accolades from local, state, and national publications across the country, including the second best brewpub in the country by USA Today.
Presently, the brewpub has 15 beers on tap. From porters and stouts, to belgian and farmhouse ales, and IPAs and pale ales – including their Haze Kick, a spin on the hazy IPA mixed with passion fruit, juicy melon, stone fruit, and malt. Hopstix currently has two small batch beers available, including their Piña Coco – a pineapple-infused experimental IPA, and Coco Dream – made with toasted coconut flakes, Madagascar vanilla beans, and cacao nibs.
Hopstix offers an eclectic menu full of mouthwatering options. Raw fish, rolls, bread, and bowls all feature on the menu as well as a favorites and seasonal section. Favorites, according to the menu, include Asian Chopped Salad, Steamed Bao, Curry Fries, Tacos, beer-battered-and-friend chicken nuggets and sweet chili sauce, Chicken Satay and more. Their Fall/Winter menu feature Grilled Duck, Red Lotus Roll, Curry Noodle, Miso Clam Soup, and Poke Tostadas, in which prices range from $14 – $17.
Hopstix has both indoor and outdoor seating options and is open from 11:30 am – 9 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 am – 10 pm Friday and Saturday, and is closed on Sunday.
