Arches Brewing’s beloved Film Nite are hosting this spooky takeover all month!
If you’re a fan of Hammer horror, then Arches Brewing is the place for you this October. The brewery host an array fabulous events, both reoccurring and one-off specials. They regularly host movie night and every weekend for the remainder of the month, you’ll be able to watch some classic horror movies!
The gallery curator plays classic films from his personal collection, and their Halloween specials focus on the cult-followed genre of Hammer horror!
Hammer Film Productions Ltd. is a British film production company based in London. Founded in 1934, the company is best known for a series of Gothic horror and fantasy films made from the mid-1950s until the 1970s. Many of these involve classic horror characters such as Baron Victor Frankenstein, Count Dracula, and the Mummy.
On October 15th 8-10pm, you’ll be able to enjoy Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966) on the big screen at Arches’ Free Film Nite. Two couples traveling in eastern Europe decide to visit Karlsbad despite dire local warnings. They find themselves in a local castle and are surprised at the hospitality extended by the sinister, Klove. It turns out the owner, Count Dracula, dead for ten years, has been hoping for such a visit.
That’s not all that’s on offer at Arches Brewing to get you in the mood for Halloween. Their annual Halloween art exhibition promises to fright and delight!
