There are so many incredible places to go ice skating in and around the ATL. From Atlantic Station’s dazzling rink to day trips to Lake Lanier, we’re truly spoilt for choice. Luckily, another ice-skating rink is hitting up the ATL for the holiday season, and it’s located at none other than the Pratt Pullman District.
Pullman Yards has become the go-to spot for incredible entertainment over recent years, so it only seems right that it gets a slice of the holiday action by debuting a brand-new spot to hit the ice, and it’s eco-friendly!
As well as being the home to the totally bitchin’ Stranger Things experience for a limited time only, you’ll now be able to ice skate at the historic landmark over the festive period.
They announced in a post on their Instagram that Tuesdays through Sundays (starting November 23), visitors will be able to ice-skate on their brand-new rink, with ice skate rentals available on-site.
Opening times vary depending on what day you decide to visit. It’ll cost you $15 for an adult ticket with skates, and there’s discounts for kids and people who own skates. There are adult-only skating sessions on the weekend. For more information, click here.
The ice-skating rink is eco-friendly thanks to Pullman Yard’s chosen partner in creation, Glice Rink. The company are renowned for their synthetic ice rinks that’ve popped up at events all over the world. They function without the help of electricity or water, making them not only super fun but much better for the environment.
As well as their ice rink, you can also buy your holiday tree at the Pratt Pullman district this festive season. Trees for Tuition have set up shop, who are a tree-selling company devoted to replanting and helping out local students with their tuition fees.
If you’re a Stranger Things fan, then make sure you don’t miss out on the epic immersive experience that’s also on offer at Pullman Yards. For more information and tickets, click here or the link below.
