Get the kids involved in Martin Luther King Day at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta
Head to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta for their informative program honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. for MLK Day! Enjoy the scheduled activities that celebrate the birthday of our hometown hero, and learn all about Dr. King’s life.
Activities will include Art Studio, where the little ones will get to create a birthday card for Martin Luther King Jr. There will also be the opportunity to create a Dream Mobile in honor of Dr. King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
You’ll be able to explore his legacy through activities in the Creativity Café, as well as taking part in a Dr. King Celebration Parade!
Children’s Museum of Atlanta is a nonprofit organization and museum, and is the only educational venue of its kind in Atlanta. Through community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and exhibits designed for children ages 0–8. The museum strives to spark every child’s imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play.
