It seems this year we have the pleasure of experiencing our fair share of astrological wonders. This week we get to see The Perseid Meteor shower will be visible to us this Friday night and early Saturday morning. As usual, it is recommended that for a better sighting you be somewhere the sky is wide open and visible.
The shower will be visible anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. It is especially recommended viewers try to get a clearer view this year since the moon will be fuller this year than last; preventing us from being it as well as in 2021. According to space.com viewers won’t need a telescope or binoculars, but, “to take in as much sky as possible and allow about 30 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the dark.”
This should make sighting the meteor a little easier considering the lighting won’t be as clear as last year. So make plans with friends or your S.O. and enjoy one of mother natures wonders later this week! 💗
