The Optimist is located in West Midtown and has some of the best variety of oysters. This place is perfect for a summer night out with friends or a date night. This is one place to go when you want a fresh seafood dish as well as top tier service.
The Boiler Seafood
Crab boils have become increasingly popular over the years and Atlanta hasn’t been one to shy away from adding more options to its restaurant scene. The Boiler is no exception! This spot nestled in the Lindbergh area is the perfect spot to crab anything from a fried fish basket or a spicy crab/shrimp boil. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, allowing customers to feel like they’re at the family local hangout. This is an absolute must visit restaurant for national seafood week.
C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar
This place has some of the best oysters I have ever had! No exaggeration! And the service is impeccable. From the moment you enter C&S guest will feel like they’ve been transported into an atmosphere of elegance and decadence. Their specialities lie in raw oysters, shrimp cocktails, boiled seafood platters, and whole fish entrees. They also have an amazing happy hour that takes place on Monday – Friday 4p-6pm.
Big B’s Fish Joint
This is one the cutest seafood spots in the Atlanta. Located off Roswell Rd. This is a fairly new seafood spot. But they have the absolute best calamari and lobster rolls! Their shrimp tacos are also amazing and their portions are super filling. Their patio also makes it the perfect place to go on a nice summer / fall evening. The food is always fresh and the service friendly. Big B’s Fish Joint is a must experience.
Beetlecat
This colorfully designed restaurant located in the highlands has the best oyster happy hour ever! They also have an mouth watering lobster roll that is to die for. Bettlecat sets themselves apart from other seafood spots in the city, in that they also offer brunch. Each Sunday they have a donut brunch. The menu consists of different flavored donuts and donut sandwiches for guests to enjoy. You are sure to leave here full and satisfied.
Six Feet Under Pub & Fish House
Six Feet Under is the perfect spot to grab a brew and some feel good food after a hard day of work or just a stop to make after a day out with friends. This is one of the best local spots to hang out in the city. They have two locations for convenience! One in Grant Park and one on the Westside off of 11th st. Their fried seafood baskets are a must try. SFU also has a plethora of beer selections to be enjoyed if you just one to stop by for a quick brew after work.
The Ocenaire Seafood Room
The Ocenaire landed in Atlanta in 1998! Since then they have continued to provide amazing service and provide an outstanding experience to its patrons. Specializing in fresh seasonal food flown in daily, expect nothing short of exceptional. Their lobster cocktail and jumbo lump cocktail is beyond filling and could even serve as the main dish.
W.H. Stiles Fish Camp
This restaurant is perfectly located in Ponce City Market along the BeltLine. This is a perfect post walk or mid-walk pit stop. They have an array of seasonally fresh oysters for patrons to enjoy or if you’d like something more filling, they have outstanding po’ boys. They offer a classic shrimp po’ boy as well as a fried oyster po’ boy. These dishes can be enjoyed with either a glass of wine or a beer that they also offer anther restaurant. They have an eating area both inside and outside so you can dine-nor enjoy take out.
Lure
This sexy restaurant located off Crescent Ave. in Midtown is a must visit location for seafood lovers! Lure is a swanky seafood spot with quality food and gorgeous cocktails. This restaurant also has amazing oyster deals throughout the week, this place can’t be skipped! They offer a happy hour Monday – Saturday 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Stop by and grab some fresh oysters.
