Anyone who is a Walking Dead fan knows how important Atlanta and the rest of Georgia in the show. Reedus also has a new book documenting his travels over the years, appropriately titled “In Transit.” (Secret Atlanta readers can snag a 10% discount off the book when you enter the code SECRET at checkout here). Featured in the book is none other than ATL’s own Brent Hinds (formerly of Mastodon).

When Secret Media Network (SMN) caught up with Norman Reedus he was filming his docu-series travel show “Ride With Norman Reedus” in Atlanta. He spoke about filming a previous episode of the show with Hinds and their friendship.
“We were in Louisiana. We went crawdad fishing with these nets and we had these big rubber boots up to our knees, wading through this lake. Then we had crawdad races with him and we just became really good friends,” he told SMN.
Hinds and Reedus also share a love of Motorhead and ink. “We went and got tattoos the day that Lemmy [Kilmister] died.” While filming a new episode of “Ride” Reedus said he hopes the Atlanta native will make an appearance, “We’ve been talking to him, we’re in his town. I love Brent, he’s great.”
