Ponce City Market have announced that the iconic community hub will bring a new, urban farming concept to the property. PCM can now be a little more self reliant, as vertical, aeroponic farm towers have been installed.
Visitors can now see fresh herbs, veggies and fruits growing outside the second floor entrance to the Central Food Hall on the Third Floor Trestle, the passageway that connects the Atlanta BeltLine to Ponce City Market’s main building.
The vertical farm has been installed by Copiana – agriculture specialists who focus on sustainability and accessibility. The company have been bringing aeroponic tower farms into commercial spaces since 2018, and they’ve finally made it to Ponce City Market.

The said in a recent statement, “Ponce City Market restaurants will be able to incorporate the freshest of produce into their dishes, and office workers at Ponce City Market will also be able to benefit from the new amenity on a rotating basis, through monthly mini harvest events hosted by the Copiana team.”
