Spooky season is here, and an awesome way honor the change of the season is by heading to Stone Mountain Park’s Pumpkin Festival. Beginning on September 17, the festival will continue until just before Halloween, on October 29th!
Stone Mountain Park’s Pumpkin Festival is a perfect place for families and kids, or anyone who’s young at heart! By day, the grounds will feature show-stopping entertainment and bring story-book classics to life. By night, the grounds will be lit up as an array of lights, and glowing pumpkins luminate the whole park!
What happens during the nighttime?
This year, it’ll be glowing in a whole new light with the brand new Pumpkin Drone Show! Guests can also expect plenty of other super fun glowing experiences! The Glow by Night experience is an outdoor journey where attendees can get excited for thousands of glowing lights, massive jack-o-lanterns, a giant glowing pumpkin tree, meet-n-greets with costumed characters, glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, and glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs. Not to mention the World’s Largest Pumpkin Lights Show!
Kids and grownups alike can experience the outdoor journey through classic storybook tales that come to life with even more glow! There are 10 themed areas with over 40 newly imagined scenes to explore for plenty of not-so-spooky, glowing adventures after sunset.
What’s going on during the daylight?
Daytime activities also include their incredible selection of attractions, like a huge Pumpkin Festival, a pumpkin pie eating contest, the Scenic Railroad through beautiful autumn in Stone Mountain, Dinosaur Explore, and The Wizard of Oz 4-D Experience!
There’s also some delicious fall snacks to get you into the seasonal spirit!
