Stone Mountain Park’s Pumpkin Festival is a perfect place for families and kids, or anyone who’s young at heart! During the daytime, the grounds will feature show-stopping entertainment and bring story-book classics to life. And after nightfall, the grounds will be illuminated by glowing pumpkins, lights, laser shows, fireworks, and more ~lit~ fun!
This year, Stone Mountain’s Pumpkin Festival will run from September 14th – November 3rd, 2024.
What happens during the nighttime?
This year, the Pumpkin Festival will be glowing in a whole new way with brand new experiences and shows! Of course, there’s the iconic Pumpkin Drone Show, which will illuminate the mountain, epic fireworks shows, and new this year, Cinderella will fly to the top of the massive pumpkin tree to light it for the season! Guests can also expect plenty of other super fun glowing events too, from thousands of glowing lights, massive jack-o-lanterns, meet-n-greets with costumed characters, glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, and glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs. Not to mention the World’s Largest Pumpkin Lights Show!
Kids and grownups alike can experience the outdoor journey through classic storybook tales that come to life with even more glow! There are 10 themed areas with over 40 newly imagined scenes to explore for plenty of not-so-spooky, glowing adventures after sunset.

Daytime activities also include their incredible selection of attractions, like a huge Pumpkin Festival, a pumpkin pie eating contest, the Scenic Railroad through beautiful autumn in Stone Mountain, a storybook experience, and of course, some of the best fall family photo ops around!
