As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, it’s time to get excited for cooler days, falling leaves, and most importantly, pumpkin patches! Georgia has so many places to pick pumpkins across Atlanta, perfect for a fantastic outing this fall.
1. Oakland Cemetery
Where: Oakland
One of the most iconic places to visit on Halloween is Oakland Cemetery. Expect walking tours and spooky experiences throughout the entirety of October. They’ll be hosting a pumpkin patch for one weekend only on October 8 & 9. Click here for more information.
2. Ponce City Market
Where: Old Fourth Ward
Ponce City Market is home to one of the most beloved pumpkin patches in the ATL. You can even channel your inner-artist and paint a pumpkin-creation. They also host a plethora of activities throughout the fall. Click here for more information.
3. Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze
Where: Dawsonville
To call this place just a ‘pumpkin patch’ would be a total understatement. There’s a 15-acre corn maze, Halloween activities, and so much more. So pick up your pumpkins for spooky season, before getting lost in their brand new corn-maze themed after our Peach State. Click here for more information.
4. Jaemor Farms
Where: Alto
Also known for peach and apple picking, Jarmor Farms hosts an annual pumpkin patch that’s not to be missed. The picture perfect farm makes pumpkin picking just that extra bit special.
5. Southern Belle Farm
Where: McDonough
A great option throughout the year, with exceptional u-pick experiences every season except winter, and they’ll still have unmissable activities on at Christmas! However, their pumpkin patch is great fun for the whole family. Make sure you make a pit-stop at their wonderful farm store for some delicious treats.
6. Scottsdale Farm
Where: Milton
The pumpkin patch at Scottsdale Farm is next level. With an endless amount of pumpkins to choose from, in an array of shapes and colors, your front porch is bound to look the coolest after a visit to this awesome garden center.
7. Mitcham Farms
Where: Oxford, near Covington
Double K Farms, known as Mitcham Farm, has been in operation through five generations. The farm has come a long way since it started over 100 years ago. It’s now a beloved attraction all year round, but specifically in the fall due to it’s stellar line-up of autumnal activities on offer, including a corn maze and their pumpkin patch.
8. Yule Forest
Where: Stockbridge
These enchanting woods and farm host an incredible pumpkin patch. Pick some pumpkins, enjoy hay-rides, a corn maze, and more!
9. Burt’s Farm
Where: Dawsonville
You’ll be totally spoilt for choice at Burt’s Farm. With pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors, impress all the trick or treaters this year, with an awesome selection from Burt’s Farm. You’ll have to carve them all yourself, though.
10. Buford Corn Maze
Where: Buford
There’s so many fun things to do at Buford Corn Maze during the fall. From their awesome corn maze to spooky Halloween happenings, including their Haunted Forest. However, their pumpkin patch is one of the best in the metropolitan area, so don’t miss out this season y’all!
