Atlanta is gearing up to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer, and we couldn’t be more excited. But with all the buzz about this weekend’s Super Bowl LX, we can’t forget that Mercedes-Benz isn’t just hosting the World Cup, we’re also slated to host Super Bowl LXII in 2028. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement in October of 2024,

How many Super Bowl championships has Atlanta hosted?

Super Bowl LXII will be the fourth time Atlanta has hosted the football championship. Previously, we hosted in 2019 at Mercedes-Benz, and 1994 and 2000 at the Georgia Dome (prior to Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s construction).
Leading up to Super Bowl LXII, the Super Bowl will be hosted on February 8th, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and then February 14th, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The exact date for Super Bowl LXII in Atlanta will be announced closer to 2028!
