If you’ve ever had an epic night out on the BeltLine, then you’ve probably paid a visit to The James Room. A beloved cocktail lounge for elegant mixology, directly on our very own loop of the city! Luckily, their opening up a brand new location in Buckhead which will boast awesome views of the city. This brand new location will even be bigger than its OG location in Inman Park, bringing more square-footage of everyone’s favorite cocktail lounge to the ATL.
This new expansion is a partnered endeavor between Harold Brinkley, owner of The James Room, and rising star restaurateur Aaron Mattison, who also operates Ponce City Market’s Bar Vegan and pop-up Excuse My French.
With the cocktail program at center stage, guests will experience a soaring selection of energetic and exciting drinks in the form of perfected classics, seasonal standouts and an arsenal of beautifully garnished, robust and complex libations including the Sidecar with Remy Martin 1738, mathilde xo orange liqueur, lemon juice & simple syrup, or the irresistible Angry Pina Margarita.
The moody destination’s anchoring beverage program shines alongside an equally elevated bar menu featuring a revolving collection of chef-driven small plates like balsamic raspberry lamb chops, vegan meatballs, shrimp crudité and a selection of charcuterie board offerings.
“Our eating and drinking experiences are largely defined by the interplay of all five senses,” said Brinkley. “As much as music plays a large part in the process, it’s equally as much about interior design and food presentation aesthetics, tactile impressions like room temperature and food texture, physical comfort and even the color of the napkins.”
This brand new edition of The James Room will be a third floor interior space with an outdoor balcony, set to gorgeously evoke a chic French and Italian-inspired aesthetic. Expect dark woods, luxury leather, and rustic, creative artworks. There’ll even be radiant chandeliers with a soft ambient lighting, guaranteeing this cocktail lounge’s destiny as a date night and after-work hotspot.
Their new location will be open at 3009 Peachtree Street NE late this summer. It’ll be on the third floor serving dinner and late-night Wednesday through Sunday.
