There’s plenty to do for St. Patrick’s Day in Atlanta!
Atlanta usually hosts one of the longest-running Saint Patrick’s Day parades in the United States. Although Atlanta doesn’t have a large Irish American population, the city’s St. Patrick’s Day parade is rather large and spectacular.
This year’s parade has been cancelled, but there’s still plenty to do to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Atlanta. To help you, we’re breaking down the best of the best.

1. Party like the Irish

3. Rock City
An iconic Georgian waterfall will be getting a makeover this St. Patrick’s Day, for Chattanooga’s premier St. Patrick’s Day event Shamrock City. Located at Rock City, the day promises green beer, live music and a great time! The event takes place on 20 and 21 of March.
4. Second Self Beer Company
There’s so much great beer in Atlanta. Second Self Beer Company are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day special event. Get your green beer by the pint or pitcher! Second Self Beer Company were recently honored for Georgia Beer Day.
5. Gypsy Kitchen
Gypsy Kitchen recently made it on our list of favorite date hotspots in Atlanta. Why not turn your St. Paddy’s Day to date night, as Gypsy Kitchen are serving up green Sangria for the big day.
6. Hampton + Hudson
Drink up at Hampton + Hudson with their Irish drink specials available every day until Wednesday, March 17th! Enjoy the $5 specials on enjoy $5 specials on Jameson, Guinness, and Black & Tans. They’ll even have food specials on the big day including a tasty bangers and mash.
