1. Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub
Where: Brookhaven & Milton
Voted one of the best Irish pubs in the world, this Atlantan gem is totally OTT in the best way. Enjoy your Guinness, and feel like you’re on the cobbled streets of Dublin. However, you’ll be cozy and warm inside one of Atlanta’s favorite Irish pubs!
2. Meehan’s Public House
Where: Downtown & Buckhead
This neighborhood hotspot is an incredible option for St. Patrick’s Day. Spend your day on their terrace, with plenty of outdoor seating available. You can always rely on Meehan’s for a pint, but you can’t leave without trying something from their delicious menu. We recommend their comforting Shepard’s Pie for a springtime treat.
3. Fado Irish Pub
Where: Buckhead and Midtown

4. Mac McGee Irish Pub
Where: Roswell & The Battery
This place is perfect if you’re a whiskey lover. It was voted one of the best whiskey bars in the city and has a traditional Irish pub interior that’ll transport you all the way to Ireland. For St. Paddy’s Day they’re having live music and offering specials for drinks and food.
5. Limerick Junction
Where: Atkin’s Park
Founded in 1988, Atlanta’s oldest Irish pub features a terrific repertoire of live Irish folk music every weekend. Limerick Junction is the place to go for live Irish entertainment, iconic pub grub dishes, and drinks to wash them down!
6. The Elder Tree
Where: East Atlanta Village
This place is a great place to catch a game in Atlanta. The stylish interiors and extensive menu makes The Elder Tree an East Atlanta gemstone. We recommend the Red Devil burger for a delicious, fiery feast!
7. The Marlay House
Where: Decatur
Irish owners offer traditional pub-grub at this pub lover’s paradise. There’s an incredible selection of beer on tap at The Marlay. Their gorgeous interiors will transport you across the pond to Ireland, without leaving the ATL.
8. Gibney’s Pub
Where: Downtown
They will be serving green beer this St. Patrick’s Day, so if that’s your St. Paddy’s preference then head to Gibney’s Pub. Their menu is huge and you’re going to want to try the whole thing, so enter on an empty stomach.
9. The Bookhouse Pub
Where: Midtown
This is an incredible Irish pub find in Atlanta. The relaxing atmosphere and quirky décor is the perfect place to unwind after a long week. Their menu offers creativity beyond your imagination. We suggest trying the Conch fritters for a tasty treat. Bookhouse is conveniently located near Ponce City Market, making it the perfect option for a St. Patrick’s Day day out!
