What is WildWoods: AGLOW?
WildWoods: AGLOW is a super cool nighttime exploration of nature’s beauty… after dark! This massive, multi-sensory experience invites guests into a mesmerizing and immersive walk through the woods, where they can connect with nature under the cover of old growth trees and discover the stories of connectivity, pollination and nocturnal activities.
Sarah Arnold, Director of Education at Fernbank, says,
We want to give our guests an opportunity to connect with the nocturnal world. So many of the species featured in the experience are either nocturnal or very reclusive, so we don’t get to see them often.
What can guests expect at WildWoods: AGLOW?
At WildWoods: AGLOW, guests will get to wander down the paths of WildWoods among towering, artistically illuminated sculptures, glowing projections and original musical compositions.
Highlights of this incredible experience include:
- an interactive tulip poplar pod
- projections of nocturnal wildlife and native plant species
- larger-than-life incandescent mushrooms
- artistic sculptures of glowing dandelions, fluttering dragonflies, a swarm of bats, garden light towers and SO many more!
During the experience, Ferbank Museum will also stay open later, offering guests the chance to explore all the museum’s incredible permanent exhibits, enjoy special food and beverage menus (including beer, wine and cocktails), relax in the AGLOW Lounge, experience an immersive film in the Giant Screen Theater, AND check out limited-time special exhibits!
When is WildWoods: AGLOW?
WildWoods: AGLOW actually has a pretty long run. Since it’s a dazzling light display, it frequently gets grouped with Atlanta’s amazing holiday lights displays–but WildWoods: AGLOW is much more than that!
You can check out the exhibit from Nov. 14th, 2025 until Feb. 28th, 2026… in other words, alllll winter long!

Cost: Tickets range from $15.95 – $34.95 when purchased online. (Tickets purchased can be purchased onsite, if not sold out, at a higher price.)
