This year, the festival has tons of events for the whole family to enjoy, including a Butterfly Encounter, where you can experience the beauty of live butterflies!
What’s the Butterfly Festival all about?
The Butterfly Festival is a great time to connect with nature and enjoy some of the most beautiful things about our world! And the 25th Annual Flying Colors Butterfly Festival has something for everyone to enjoy!
You’ll visit with LIVE butterflies at the Butterfly Encounter, meet with pollinator experts and educators, take part in the Migration Game throughout the festival to learn about monarch migration, and of course, enjoy delicious food and live entertainment!
On Saturday, guests can expect performances by Alma Mexicans and Mr. Jason Music Party. And on Sunday, Mr. Jason Music Party will be back, along with Maculelê-Capoeira Academy!

When: Saturday, June 1st, from 9am – 3pm & Sunday, June 2nd, from 12pm – 5pm

Ticket Price: $25 (children 2 and under are free); includes all activities throughout the day
Events are rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, most activities will be moved inside. Carpooling is recommended for this special event as parking at the Chattahoochee Nature Center is limited.
