If you’re looking for a little time away from the city, but still want to enjoy some delicious food, Alpharetta is the perfect spot. With a ton of new restaurants popping up OTP, you are sure to find one you love. Well, Cattleshed Steak & Wine Bar should be one that’s on your radar.
This cozy resteraunt is headed by Chef Olivia Hurst. Hurst is a recent winner on Food Network’s Chopped. In addition to her win on Choppped, Hurst has worked at several of Atlanta’s top restaurants including Buckhead Life Restaurant Group’s Atlanta Fish Market and Kyma.
Hurst is self-taught modern-Southern chef who hopes her cooking to bring people together by creating and maintaining delicious, interesting dishes. Chef Hurst’s wining dishes included:
- little neck clams in a pineapple cream sauce
- BBQ Cornish hen leg with baba ghanoush
- chokeberry and chocolate turnover with sugared zucchini coins
If you’re still looking for a romantic date night this is a perfet location. From February 10-14 they will be serving their caviar service boasting Osetra golden caviar with classic accoutrements and house-made blini. Guests will have the option of adding two glasses of Champagne for an additional $30.
A classic aphrodesiac will also be an option for guests to enjoy. Oyster specials include four roasted West Coast oysters with Champagne foam ($17) and West Coast oysters with house mignonette and cocktail sauce (six for $19 or 12 for $35).
Guests will enjoy a main entree of braised short rib ossobuco for two with orzo pasta, crispy shallots, and jus. And no Valenine’s Day is complete without dessert. Tastebuds will spark when they experience chocolate-covered strawberries or chocolate ganache hearts.
