Enjoy an afternoon of craft beers, mind-blowing chalk art, and so much more at this unique Oktoberfest celebration in Marietta. Chalktoberfest is the annual celebration that combines craft breweries and chalk street art, transforming Marietta into a temporary art gallery for an entire weekend.
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, October 8 & 9, the festival will boast over 80 artists, 40 breweries on location, and over 120 different types of beer!
Enjoy your afternoon sampling craft beers, live music from local artists, watching professional Chalk Artists chalk the streets and eating great food at the beautiful downtown square of Marietta. There will even be a chalk art competition on the Sunday, open to all attendees and artists! Concerts will be happening all weekend, with a killer line-up of music scheduled, including Brother Whitlock & Bone Daddys.
This unmissable day out for the whole family is free to attend, and proceeds will be going to the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.
However, this isn’t the only event happening in the ATL to honor Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest Atlanta will be taking over the skatepark at the Fourth Ward Park. Or if you don’t mind a little road trip, Georgia is home to an enchanting German village that annually hosts an epic Oktoberfest bash. Click here for more information.
Chalktoberfest will be taking place on October 8 from 10am until 5pm, and on October 9 from 11am until 5pm. For more information, click here to visit their website.
