Artists unite to create this special light installation at Centennial Yards
There’s a spectacular light installation on display at Centennial Yards until March 4. Entitled Heartbeat_ATL, this interactive light experience is a continuous trippy journey, using the powerful magical powers of color and print. The art may seem familiar, as a group of beloved Atlantan artists came together to create this exciting display and collaboration. So make sure you stop by next time you’re in the area, and support this inspiring installation that celebrates art and expression!
Centennial Yards wrote on their Instagram, “Come experience the colorful and dynamic bands of light and beating red hearts projected throughout the space, showcasing a powerful work of art by the creative team.”
The best part about this exciting exhibition is that it’s interactive. The bridges near Mercedes Benz Stadium or Statefarm Arena are decked out with QR codes. Scan to leave your mark, and watch the special light-based extravaganza to interact, at Centennial Yards for a limited time only.
The creative team includes ARRRTADDICT, Dash Studio, Protect Awesome, ZOO. ARRRTADDICT curated the immersive light mural, and they collaborated on other aspects of this project.
We recently sat down with ARRRTADDICT to chat about her sensational mural on the BeltLine entitled Somos Borincanos, which will continue to expand and develop throughout the year.
Heartbeat_ATL is free and open to the public until March 4, every night from 7pm until 11pm. You can find it at Centennial Yards, 1 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW, Downtown Atlanta.
