1. Garden Lights, Holiday Nights
This gorgeous drone shot (by @jerrito1) is of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens dazzling the night away over the holiday season, with our stunning skyline behind, also lighting up the ATL sky. The epic light spectacle returned for another stellar iteration, and it’s bigger and brighter than ever! You can still check out Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden until January 16. Click here for all the information you need.
2. Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther
This awesome shot by @filmtourism is movie still of the late Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther, situated at the Wheat Street Towers near Atlanta‘s Sweet Auburn Historic District. We shared this specific photo on Black History Month, but it inspired a round-up of filming locations from superhero blockbusters. Click here for a full round-up of Marvel filming locations across Atlanta.
3. Atlantic Station during the holidays!
Atlantic Station annually gets a festive make-over (photo by @skydproduction), decked out with an ice-skating rink and enchanting decorations. Don’t miss hitting their ice-skating rink before it leaves on January 16. Click here for more information, or click here for a full round-up of ice-skating rinks.
4. A Little Five Points icon!
It’s east to see why this snap of Vortex in Little Five Points (by @jon.woodman) made our most liked images of 2022. Check out our round-up of things to do in this quirky Downtown neighborhood.
5. Snow-topped Capitol Building in Atlanta
Another addition by @jerrito1, at the beginning of 2022, snow took over the ATL and even though it wasn’t much, it was enough to make certain skyline icons look enchanting.
6. Full moon behind the King & Queen
ATL’s love for all things mystic comes to life whenever we post pictures of the full moon. Check out this incredishot by @citytimelapse_ of the King & Queen in Sandy Springs in front of a stunning full moon from January.
7. Gorgeous interiors at The Select
We’re obsessed with The Select (pictured above by @atlfoodiesofficial). So much so, it featured on a round-up we did earlier in the year of the most beautiful restaurants in Atlanta.
