3. Pride Spotlight
This striking image (by @brianwallenberg) was shared on our Instagram during Pride Month. Although Atlanta Pride has looked and felt very different for the past two years, hopefully we’ll see the return of the South’s favorite LGBTQIA+ Pride Festival & Parade return in 2022. Until we’re reunited, check out our favorite Queer-owned businesses in the ATL.
Keith J Reeves (@keithjreeves) is the subject of this breathtaking picture, who’s an incredible ATL dancer and drag queen. When asked what Pride means to him, he responded, “being able to express yourself freely without any consequences. Through all the challenges the LGBTQ+ community have faced, this month brings liberation to those who have been suppressed by outdated beliefs. Love always wins!”
4. Earth-Art at Woodruff Park
Another @jerrito1 picture has made the list! The beloved Earth artist Stan Herd has curated another mind-blowing piece in the ATL earlier this year. This Earth mural cropped up in Woodruff Park, honoring NASA astronaut Stephanie Wilson, who’s been a part of three shuttle missions and is the second African American woman to go into space! Click here for more information on the stunning project.
5. Made in Atlanta
It’s no surprise that this iconic sign has made our list. Always popping up on Instagram, this beautiful shot was taken by (@zippydj). You can find the sign in the window of Switchyards Downtown Club.
6. Strawberry Full Moon
We love when a full moon luminates the ATL sky, and so do you! Check out this beautiful capture by @cyndilaine_imagines which unsurprisingly made our most liked pictures of 2021. June’s full Moon, typically the last full Moon of spring or the first of summer, is traditionally called the Strawberry Moon. It’s said to be the time to reward yourself for the hard work you’ve put into your life, relationships, and career.
7. Westside Reservoir Park in the Winter

The whole of Atlanta was lit up in red and green for the holidays, but it was the Sandy Springs icons that stole the show. This stunning picture by @droneangel_photography shows off their festive crowns, with the ATL skyline nestled in the middle.
