9 Amazing Bars And Restaurants Opening In Atlanta This Year

There are so many exciting bar and restaurant projects that are about to take over the ATL!

Change is inevitable when you’re in the hustle and bustle of a big city. Luckily, our taste buds are in for a treat as the culinary world in Atlanta gets continuous confirmation of expansion! We’re very excited for all the new bars and restaurants that are coming to the city, so we thought we’d sum them up to help you curate the perfect, culinary check-list.

Here are 10 anticipated bars & restaurants coming to Atlanta:

1. Puttshack

Where: The Interlock, at 1085 Howell Mill Road

When: April 21, 2021

London’s favorite mini-golf bar has chosen Atlanta as their debut U.S. outpost and the honor is all ours, Puttshack. The new space measures at 25,000 square feet with four tech-driven, “highly-competitive” mini-golf courses. There will be delicious bar bites and cocktails available too!

2. Epicurine Hotel

When: Summer 2021

At Epicurean, they believe in curating incredible experiences so that people can celebrate all of the wonderful flavors that the world has on offer. The food-focused hotel will have a signature restaurant, roof-top lounge, bar and pool!

3. Juniper

Where: Westside Village

When: Summer 2021

The brilliant minds behind the Chandler Park gem Lazy Betty are opening a new restaurant in Westside Village. Lazy Bettyis known for it’s swanky tasting menu, but Juniper Cafe will be a Vietnamese treat serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

4. Hippin’ Hops

When: Summer 2021

The first Black-owned brewery opened its first earlier this year, and the second is coming this summer. There seems to be no stopping them so get out and support them so the expanding doesn’t stop! Their tasty beers deserve it!

5. Illuminarium

A first of its kind experience, this experiential attraction and immersive event space. With a unique outdoor cafe & nighttime bar experience. Enjoy your drinks in space, or perhaps in the amazon rainforest! We’ll find out soon enough, as Illuminarium opens this Summer!

6. Maepole

If you’re a fan of the Athens health food connoisseurs, then you’re in luck. Maepole have officially expanded from their beloved original location. Their brand new Atlanta outpost is ready for opening, and we’re so ready for it.

7. BrewDog

Nothing is stopping the IPA connoisseurs BrewDog. The Scotland-based craft brewery and pub chain have established themselves worldwide, with locations across the globe. Atlanta is a recent addition to their near future plans, and their first Georgian location has been confirmed to be in the works.

8. BK Lobster

Brooklyn’s lobster roll icons are making their way to the ATL. A new location in Midtown is set to open soon, according to the company’s social media. They posted on Facebook earlier this year that it is “signed, sealed and delivered.”

9. Margaritaville

Margaritaville restaurant and bar will be a part of a new hotel resort, that’ll be nestled in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The milti-million dollar project is excellent news for Jimmy Buffet fans across Atlanta!
