The brilliant minds behind Sandy Spring’s Bangkok Thyme have opened a new Thai restaurant in Atlanta..
Tum Pok Pok has just opened and it looks like a delicious addition to the many tasty restaurants on offer in Atlanta. Located on Buford Highway, Adidsara Weerasin is now the owner of a little Atlantan empie as the new Chamblee restaurant launches.
There’s an extensive menu of authentic Thai street food, using only the freshest ingredients that may help make Tim Pok Pok your new addiction.
The bric-a-brac décor makes you feel as if you are in a local Thai store, and is inspired by distinct characters of Isan culture and people. The approachable staff will also guide you through the menu in their brightly colored, Thai-food-lovers paradise.
We recommend trying one of their addictive soupy creations, like the Green Curry Beef, or the Tum Corn. But whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the mango sticky rice. It’s the star of their stellar menu, and the perfect way to end your meal.
In other exciting eatery news, London’s favorite mini-golf bar will open their first U.S. outpost in Atlanta this month.
Tum Pok Pok is located at 5000 Buford Hwy NE, Chamblee, GA 30341, and opens everyday 11am-11pm. Takeout is also available.
