1. Junkman’s Daughter
Atlanta’s premiere purveyor of unusual goods, you’ll leave this gigantic thrift store with something you didn’t know you needed. Opened in 1982, the owner’s father was a junkman who spent years buying and trading what some viewed as useless. Over time, the collection of useless things has become Atlanta’s most beloved thrift stores.
2. Phipps Plaza
Moving on from on a budget, to full-on splashing the cash, Phipps Plaza is the luxury shopping mall in Atlanta. Located in Buckhead, treat yourself to some designer goodies, from Versace to Saint Laurent. If it’s out of your price range, it’s a great place to people watch! We suggest checking out one of their swanky restaurants if it’s date night.
3. Cobb Antique Mall
This gigantic space is the perfect place to snatch up something truly unique. For over 15 years, Cobb Antique Mall has offered a treasure trove of antiques, collectibles, and vintage items that will make you smile at prices that you can afford!
My Parents’ Basement is wholesome place where fellow nerds gather to drink, read comics, grub on nostalgic bites, and empty their pocket change into old gaming machines. The bar’s first iteration began as a pop-up by a group of friends before they established the brick and mortar bar and patio at 22 N Avondale Rd in 2015.
5. Rabbithole Industries
For a mystical and magical shopping spree, head to Wonderland at Little Five Point’s Rabbithole Industries. The eccentric shop looks curious from the outside, and is even curiouser in! There’s crystals, incense, and a real-life Mad Hatter!
6. Fantasyland Records
This no nonsense record store is the perfect place to stock up vinyl, CDs, and all things music. With every artist and every genre imaginable, this Buckhead beauty is a music-lover’s paradise.
