Wild Heaven Beer is Georgia through and through. Founded in 2010 by Georgia natives Nick Purdy and Eric Johnson, the brewery describes its beers as “culinary and botanically-driven” and now pours across three metro Atlanta taprooms: West End, Avondale Estates and Toco Hills. And it’s not just craft beer served at these spots — there are cocktails, wines, ciders, seltzers and loads of bites, too. Across all three locations, Wild Heaven has quietly become more than an Atlanta-born brewery—it’s a food-and-beer map of its own.
West End: BeltLine energy, EATS nostalgia and a garden party feel
West End is where Wild Heaven gets its most Atlanta-specific storyline. The taproom sits inside Lee + White, right along the BeltLine, with indoor seating, large-screen TVs, a patio, an outdoor Emergency Drinking Bar and a kitchen serving original recipes from EATS.
That last part matters. EATS, the beloved comfort-food institution that spent more than three decades on Ponce de Leon Avenue, reopened inside Wild Heaven West End with much of its original men including Atlanta comfort-food staples: jerk chicken, lemon pepper chicken, collards, mac and cheese and cornbread.
But it’s not all about EATS — West End also hosts a variety of events, with its brewery, public taproom, restaurant, patio and garden spaces giving the place more of a full-night-out feel than a quick pint stop.
This season, Wild Heaven Beer is hosting two events. First up is Big Questions, Cool Drinks, a fascinating science talk that lets you fire off your biggest questions over a seriously good beer. Then there’s The Jazz Room: A Frank Sinatra & Louis Armstrong Tribute, an intimate night of live music that brings two legends to life in the heart of the brewery.

Avondale Estates: the original neighborhood hangout
The Avondale Estates taproom is open seven days a week, kid- and dog-friendly, with 20 taps, Georgia farm wines, non-alcoholic options, cocktails and plenty of beer to take home. There’s also free trivia on Tuesdays and live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Food here comes from Al’s Pine Street Market Kitchen and the menu leans into small plates and sandwiches. Dishes range from fried green tomatoes and smoked chicken pops to a slow-smoked gochujang pork shoulder sandwich and a tofu sandwich with pickled vegetables.
Toco Hills: Wild Heaven meets Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q
Then there’s Toco Hills, Wild Heaven’s third brewery location, tucked into Toco Hills Shopping Center. This one comes with a headline partnership built right in: Fox Bros. That makes Toco Hills the location for anyone who wants the food decision handled before they even arrive. You’re not choosing between “brewery” and “barbecue.” You’re getting both.
The drinks list changes weekly and includes everything from IPAs to spirits and mixers. The food menu, meanwhile, leans fully into the Fox Bros. world, with smoked wings, loaded Texas fries and location-exclusive snacks among the offerings.
Toco Hills also has its own events calendar, with Wild Heaven listing live music, trivia and tasting events at the location. So while West End has the BeltLine buzz and Avondale has the original taproom charm, Toco Hills has the most straightforward promise: show up hungry, get barbecue, drink something good, stay longer than planned.
