Happy Hanukkah, Atlanta! There are plenty of things to do across the city to celebrate and honor Hanukkah this year. One of the best ways to make your Festival of Lights luminously bright is by heading to one (or more!) of the many menorah lightings taking place across all over Atlanta.
This year, Hanukkah begins at sunset on Wednesday, December 25th, at sunset!

1. Atlantic Station
Where: Atlantic Station Green | 1380 Atlantic Drive, Atlanta GA 30363
When: December 30th from 6pm – 7:30pm
Atlantic Station will be hosting an unforgettable menorah lighting ceremony, presented by Chabad Intown. The celebration will feature an array of special treats and activities. You can RSVP here if you’d like to go to this FREE event! There’s a suggested donation of $18 per family.
2. Avalon
Where: Avalon in Alpharetta | The Living Room (Located between Cafe Intermezzo & Five Daughters)
When: December 29th from 5pm – 6pm
Check out the traditional menorah lighting ceremony in Alpharetta, hosted by Chabad of North Fulton, with a line-up of music, goodies, and more at this adored entertainment district.

3. Kennesaw
Where: Behind City Hall, in front of the Council Chamber Doors
When: December 26th from 5pm – 7pm
The City of Kennesaw, in partnership with Chabad of Kennesaw, will be hosting their annual menorah lighting on Dec 26th. This event celebrates the holiday, and is open to all.

4. Avenue East Cobb
Where: The Plaza at Avenue East Cobb | 4475 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30062
When: December 29th from 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Celebrate Hanukkah with a traditional menorah lighting ceremony with Chabad of Cobb at Avenue East Cobb. Expect family-friendly activities, delicious Chanukah treats, and more!
Plus, don’t miss out on the Gelt Drop, featuring the Cobb County Fire Department! Collect all the chocolate gelt you can as they rain down from the highest point of the fire truck’s lift.

5. Decatur Square

When: December 29th @ 4:30pm
Join Chabad Intown for the annual Menorah lighting in Decatur Square. Guests can expect tons of festivities, like music, entertainment, Dreidels, doughnuts, hot latkes, crafts for the kids and more!
