Oktoberfest in and around the ATL! 🍻
From our awesome craft breweries to unmissable events, check out some of our Oktoberfest recommendations below. Our annual ATL festival may have been put on hold, but there’s still so much to do, right here in the city! Oktoberfest is actually celebrated in Germany beginning mid to late September, but because the festivities are just too fun, tons of events will carry through the month of October in the city. Here are 6 exciting Oktoberfest celebrations happening this year in Atlanta.
Where: 1279 Seaboard Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
Round Trip Brewing Company are hosting several Oktoberfest events. The beloved craft beer brewery have even created a brand new brew for the occasion! The artisanal Märzen beer goes down a treat with their unbeatable selection of food vendors!
Where: Helen, Georgia (1074 Edelweiss Strasse, Helen, GA 30545)
Although it’s not in Atlanta, you don’t want to miss out on Helen’s Oktoberfest extravaganza. The alpine village will temporarily transport you from Georgia to Germany, as Helen celebrates with multiple weeks of traditional dancing, food, and, of course, German beer! Best thing about this unique celebration is that it lasts until November, so there’s plenty of time to head to Helen and check it out!
Where: 1039 Grant St SE Suite B34, Atlanta, GA 30315
There’s a three day fiesta at Elsewhere Brewing from October 1, until October 3. With a special German feast menu, boot beers, and more! Don’t miss out on their three day event, where lederhosen, dirndls, and all Oktoberfest festiveness are encouraged!
Where: 550 Somerset Terrace NE #101, Atlanta, GA 30306
Oktoberfest is coming to New Realm on Sunday, October 3rd. Get ready for some stein-hoisting, bratwurst-eating, and beer-drinking fun! There’s an awesome selection of live music throughout the day, and New Realm Stein specials on offer, as well as some tasty German bites!
Where: 1328 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30315
We love Red’s Beer Garden here at Secret Atlanta. Their cozy outdoor space is perfect all year round, but there’s something extra special about it during fall. Check out Oktoberfest at Red’s happening now through the first week of October.
Where: Atlanta Botanical Garden, Piedmont Park
Although not an Oktoberfest event, there’s beers on offer most evenings this October at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Thanks to their annual beer festival Fest-Of-Ale, visitors can explore their fall exhibitions and offerings, as the moonlight transforms the gorgeous space into an ooky-spooky outing!
