Sooo how do I maximize my time off?

Don’t worry, we got you. Here’s what you need to take off to maximize that PTO and turn a long weekend into a mini vacay:
- January 2, 2026: Start off the year strong… with some time off! Take of January 2nd, and that’s a 4 day weekend.
- January 20, 2026: Enjoy MLK Jr. Day off on the 19th, and keep the weekend going with that Tuesday off too! Another 4 day weekend.
- February 13 or 17, 2026: Take your pick: and extend Presidents’ Day weekend into a 4-day break.
- May 22 or 26, 2026: Make your Memorial Day a 4 day weekend by taking Friday or Tuesday off!
- June 18 or 22, 2026: Make Juneteenth into a 4 day weekend
- July 3 or 6, 2026: Sandwich Independence Day with the weekend for a 4-day break. (4th of July is actually on a Saturday, so most companies will take the 3rd off instead)
- September 4 or 8, 2026: Have Labor Day secure a 4-day weekend.
- October 9 or 13, 2026: Make Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend a 4-day break.
- November 9 and 10, 2026: Take two days around Veterans Day for a huge 5-day vacation.
- November 27, 2026: Pair this with Thanksgiving and the weekend for 4 days off.
- December 24, 2026: Use Christmas Eve to bridge into Christmas Day and the weekend for 4 days off!
