The lovely people at Finca to Filter have an exciting collaboration going on with local bookstores, to not only promote the importance of supporting local, but also, the importance of supporting kindness.
If you support the three participating bookstores, you can receive a free coffee from this adored ATL coffeehouse thanks to their Be Awesome, Buy Local campaign.
The offer began to honor and celebrate National Reading Month which is in March, but you can claim your free coffee until April 30.
All you have to do is get a stamp card from Finca to Filter, and fill it up by purchasing full-price books from one (or all three) of the book shops. Once you return with your fully-stamped card, you can expect FiNCA gift cards and freebies!
The bookstores participating are Charis Books & More, Brave + Kind Bookstore, and Bookish. Each business is renowned for promoting kindness and allyship, with this special collaboration organized amid the recent rise in homophobic and transphobic discourse across the U.S.
Finca to Filter is one of Atlanta’s adored LGBTQ+ owned businesses, with these incredible bookshops continuously elevating the voices, and unapologetically sharing the stories of LGBTQ+ stories since their foundations.
Charis Books & More is the South’s oldest feminist bookstore, located in Decatur. Brave + Kind is an incredible Black-owned business that specializes in children’s books, but don’t worry, the grown-ups aren’t left our either. And finally, Bookish is East Atlanta‘s beloved bookstore, known for their indie selection and mixing new releases with second-hand books.
So make sure to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to not only support local, but support kindness.
