1. Bring in the first day of Summer with Yoga & Meditation
Summer Solstice marks the official first day of summer which is right around the corner! Bringing in a new season can be stressful, unpredictable, and scary but not with the right energy. Colony Square invites Atlantans to join them a few days before the summer solstice, to set their intentions for a new season. Get ready to relax, zen out, and be purposeful about manifesting your next moves.
2. Have a little family fun with Biergarten Nights at The Point
With the summer rays finally shining down, it’s time to get out and enjoy some good entertainment and great food. The Point located in Druid Hills area of Atlanta will be kicking off Biergarten Nights. There will be live music, food, and fun lawn games. All the fun kicks off starting June 3. Be sure to check out one of their many events this summer.
3. Take a step back in time at this pre-historic exhibition
There’s an incredible exhibition in Atlanta! And it’s completely dinomite (pun intended)! Prehistoric life takes over Atlanta with Isla Nublar’s most gigantic creatures stepping onto the floors of Pullman Yards. Your favorite dinosaurs crawl their way out of the screen, with all their defining archaic features.
4. Join Rugby ATL for a captivating Major League Rugby game at Silverbacks Park
This June, Atlanta’s very own Major League Rugby team will be playing two exciting home games at Silverbacks Park. On Friday, June 2, Rugby ATL will take on the New England Free Jacks at 7pm. Players will be wearing special limited-edition jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds going to charity. 5. Visit this new sports spot, Fowling Warehouse
Enjoy this unique gaming experience that combines football and bowling! This unique mixture of sports is known as Fowling. And Atlanta has the pleasure to enjoy its very own Fowling Warehouse. With new additions to this space, guests will now enjoy in-house food featuring a variety of sports bar favorites. They have also added a new dog-friendly courtyard space in addition to a patio! In true Atlantan style, there will now be a brunch menu to enjoy on Sundays.
6. Stroll through this gorgeous Van Gogh Exhibition
Returning to the Big Peach after a two-year hiatus, the exhibit is new and improved — featuring new 360-degree projections and state-of-the-art technology that transports you to Van Gogh’s breathtaking universe. Take in every detail of the impressionist painter’s brushstrokes as his pieces surround the walls of Atlanta’s Exhibition Hub, and uncover the mysteries behind Van Gogh’s life and work.

18. Get fit for free this summer
Summer bod loading! Summer is the season when we all try to look our best. Bikinis, shorts, and crop tops galore. In an effort to encourage a healthy lifestyle or a third year, Planet Fitness invites high school students ages 14 – 19 to work out for FREE at any of its more than 2,400 Planet Fitness locations through August 31 as part of the nationwide High School Summer Pass program.
